Magdalene House is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Your donation is tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. A receipt will be sent to your email address.
✦ Why Give
Magdalene House is a young mission community, and we depend on the generosity of our members and friends to sustain our worship, formation programs, and pastoral ministry. Every gift — large or small — directly supports the life of this community.
In the Eastern Catholic tradition, stewardship is understood as a participation in the divine generosity — a recognition that all we have is a gift from God, and that we are called to give back from what we have received. The tithe — giving a portion of one's income to the Church — is the ancient Christian standard of generosity.
Your support helps us maintain our worship space, provide formation programs for adults and children, support our pastor, and reach out to those who are seeking Christ in the Phoenix area.
Candles, incense, liturgical books, vestments, and the maintenance of our worship space.
Adult catechumenate materials, CGS atrium supplies, and formation resources for all ages.
Supporting our pastor's ministry of preaching, sacraments, spiritual direction, and pastoral care.
Outreach, evangelization, and the development of our community as a flourishing parish.
✦ A Note on Giving
No gift is too small. The ancient tradition of the tithe — giving 10% of one's income to the Church — is a worthy goal, but we encourage all members to give prayerfully and proportionally, according to their means and the promptings of the Holy Spirit.
If you have questions about stewardship, or if financial hardship is a concern, please speak with Fr. Joseph in confidence. No one is ever turned away from the sacraments or the life of the community for financial reasons.
