✦ Our Services
The Heart of Our Worship
The Divine Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom is the central act of worship of our community and the source and summit of our faith. Celebrated since the 4th century, it is a mystical encounter with the risen Christ where heaven and earth meet. Through the Liturgy, we participate in the eternal worship of God and receive the precious Body and Blood of Christ in Holy Communion. It is a full sensory encounter with the mystery of God — incense, chant, icons, and the Eucharist at the center. The Liturgy is celebrated in English, with elements of Church Slavonic and Greek. We maintain an open table: all who are drawn to receive Holy Communion are welcome, regardless of background, denomination, or life situation. As an Open and Affirming congregation, we believe that no one should be turned away from the table of Christ.

The Evening Prayer of the Church
Great Vespers is the solemn evening prayer of the Eastern rite, sung on Saturday evenings and on the eves of feast days. This beautiful service of psalms, hymns, and readings prepares our hearts for worship and rest, inviting us into contemplation of God's goodness throughout the day and opening us to the grace of the coming liturgical celebration. The service uses Scripture, ancient prayers, and sacred chant to lift our minds and hearts to heaven. The service lasts approximately 45 minutes and is open to all.

✦ Sacrament of Reconciliation
The Sacrament of Confession is celebrated face-to-face, following the ancient tradition of the Eastern Church. Fr. Joseph is available for confession at the times listed below, and also by appointment. He welcomes all who seek healing and reconciliation, regardless of how long it has been since their last confession.
Modest, respectful attire is appreciated. Many women wear a head covering, though it is not required. There is no dress code for visitors.
All are welcome at the table. Christ himself ate with everyone — the outcast, the seeker, the doubter, the sinner — without first requiring them to be in a particular spiritual state. As a community, we have chosen to follow His example. If you are drawn to receive, please come forward. If you prefer to receive a blessing instead, simply cross your arms over your chest as you approach. No one is turned away.
The Divine Liturgy lasts approximately 60–75 minutes. Great Vespers is approximately 45 minutes. Matins is approximately 30 minutes.
Yes, parking is available at our location. Please see the Contact page for our address and directions.
